Meet 12.30pm for 1pm kick off
Toilets are in the school - boots should be removed.
Food will be provided for all players and coaches, bacon rolls, tea/coffee & snacks available to purchase.
Parking will be at the school or in between the astro pitches, volunteers will direct you. Linkfield road
and the back entrance to Pinkie playing fields may also be used.
The facilities are council owned and there is strictly no dogs allowed on the playing fields.

Play and train for fun – enjoy yourself every week
Work hard at training and improve your skills – the harder you try, the better you become and the more enjoyment you
have
Play to the rules of the game and respect referees
Be a good sport – applaud good rugby from your own team and the opposition and encourage team mates
Rugby is a team game – don’t be selfish, involve everyone in training and games
Players must wear suitable kit for matches: gum shields are compulsory and it is recommended that all players bring a
water bottle.
Any young person who is misbehaving and/or being disruptive during training/game sessions will
o Be asked to stop the behaviour in question
o If the behaviour in question does not stop they will be asked to sit out for 5 minutes
o If the behaviour continues the young person will not be allowed to continue with the rest of the session or game
and parents informed

Please refrain from coaching from the sidelines, one voice from the coach sets the clear message for players
Be positive – encourage all players to give their best and enjoy themselves
Speak to the coaches if you have any questions or concerns
Help your child to recognise good performances and teamwork, not just results
Encourage and guide players to accept responsibility for their own performance and behaviour
