Women in Semis
Our Women’s 1st XV have made it in to the semis of the Sarah Beaney cup after other teams withdrew from the competition. Details of that game will publish when the cup games are completed.

The Women’s Development team recently entertained Keswick Falcons at Union Park for a training game and beers. It’s the first time the clubs have met in the women’s game but hopefully it will be another strong link that can be developed on the back of the mens’ tour which is in its 44th year in 2022.

Longest Season Ever to Finish in April
The Men’s 1st XV have been grafting all season and put bodies on the line to keep the results coming. Finally last weekend the body count mounted up and availability caught us out. It’s been a very long stop start season which still leaves them with fixtures against Livingston (A) on 9th April with the North Berwick (A) game rescheduled for 30th April. Your support at these games would be really appreciated as the men push to finish in the top end of the table.

The Men’s 2nd XV league season has finished which has been a challenge all year for fixtures and we really appreciate the hard work the players, coaches and management have put in to make things happen. Hopefully a more normal season can resume next year!!

Keswick Tour
Having been missing due to Covid reasons we finally get back to Keswick with the men’s tour on 14th and 15th May. Details for tourists will be coming out soon so please stand by for the tour theme! Meanwhile if you haven’t paid your deposits please get in touch with Westy to make payments.

Maintenance
A huge thanks to Lewis Byrne, Malc Maiden, Dani Raventos for their help in keeping the clubhouse functioning this year. While it may not be obvious all the time the upkeep of the clubhouse and the time these guys volunteer to keep us tidy and ticking over is vital!
Also thanks to Scotia Plastair for their recent work in restoring the harling at the end of the clubhouse.

And Finally....

Good Luck to our favourite Argentinian, Nacho, as he takes the plunge and gets married next Monday to the lovely Emma. All at the club wish them the best for the future together!
