Ed was a local lad who went to Heriots school and then a career in Ferrantis. He played for the Ferrarnti rugby side for a couple of years before returning to Corstorphine. Past club captain and coach and an enthusiastic long distance runner. Ed was a stalwart in a good Corstorphine side in the 60s & 70s. Captaining the team from 1966-1968. A good rugby man who will be sorely missed.

His funeral will be at 11am on 10 September.
